My period is really bad this month, I don't have a left fallopian tube or ovary is this normal?

I had a baby on March 15 by emergency c-section. It ended up they had to remove my left ovary and fallopian tube. I was told my periods would be lighter and less painful. Well this is my first period since then and its painful and heavy for the past 3 days. Is this normal or should I be concerned??

If this deviates from your periods before the removal of your ovary and tube, then I would be concerned. Tell your doc (OB) about this and see what he thinks. He may do some testing or just decide on a wait and see approach.
