My understanding (but I could be wrong) is that an oophorectomy is surgery to remove an entire ovary and in some cases just a portion of one. If you have removed both ovaries then you would not be able to conceive a child naturally - there is no place for the eggs to grow and be released. If you only had one removed or if you only had part of one removed and still have a functional ovary on the other side then you may be able to have a child.
Without ovaries, your only option for child birth is to use IVF and an egg donor.
You should visit a fertility specialist and go through some testing.
Best wishes!
