I only have one ovary and really would like to keep it. Plus my belly is only measuring 31 cm when I am definately 37 weeks with a very healthy baby girl. She was breech at 34 weeks.
I have a cyst on my ovary and am 37 weeks. It really seems to hurt but the doc does not seem to be concerned.
At this far along in your pregnancy, I don't think there is anything the doctor can do until after you deliver. Definitely remind him as soon as you deliver (or whoever catches the baby, if he is on vacation or something) so that they can check it out and possibly treat it right away. It is completley fair for you to say "This is my only ovary, my only source of natural hormones, I'd like this cyst not to damage it."
