Lower pain from ovary to kidney, can I be pregnant?

I have a pain that goes sharp and then dulls on my left ovary and I can feel this light dull pain in my kidney too. Can this be per impanting cramps? I m/c in Sept and when I did felt all the pain in my back area, so was just wondering - thanks

I'm so sorry about your loss. It could be either implantation, ovulation, or impending period...it depends on where you are in your cycle. If you're unsure if you've ovulated or not, it could be ovulation pain. However, if your sure you ovulated and are in the post-ovulation phase, then it could be implantation. or it could be just normal cramping before your period. Most women describe both implantation and ovulation to be a sharp pain or twing.

Reply:I have the same pain right as I am ovulating. Its the egg being realesed. Keep an eye on it though because it could be something more serious if the pain gets to hard to handle or there is a ton of blood. Good to the dr. if it gets worse. Good luck!
Reply:It could be that your about to ovulate or if you have already ovulated it could be your period coming on.


With the pain in the kidney you might have a kidney infection.


You should go to your doctor and just see whats going on if the pain persists.

Reply:The pain in the ovary area could be from the egg releasing from the ovary. If it around the kidney area it could be an infection in the kidney. If it is still worrying you go to your local GP.
