I'm having a sever Stabbing pain in my left Ovary. What can I do?

Okay I have a feminine question. I started my period about a week early no big deal. My periods are pretty abnormal as far as schedule goes. And I normally cramp really bad my first day . But this time I’m not having cramps. I’m having this sever pain.( I’ve doubled over and almost dropped to my knees a few times today cause of it) The pain feels like someone is taking a knife and stabbing me. Threw my stomach into my left ovary and into my lower back. I’m not bleeding very hard however. Any one have any suggestions on what I can do about the pain? Or what could be causing it? It’s just new kind of hurt to me. Thanks for your time.

I suggest speaking with your doctor, only you know what is normal and not normal for your body.
Reply:The pain your feeling could be something as simple as you are ovulating. However it should not be something that would drop you to your knees. When you ovulate you may feel a little pain - almost like a pinch. Sounds like there is something more serious going on and you need to see a doctor.
Reply:The same thing happened to one of my friends and she had a cyst on one of her ovaries. Contact a doctor or go to the emergency room ASAP!!
Reply:You should be checked medically for an ovarian cyst.
Reply:you should go to the doctor my mom had surgery for it so you so go to the doctor right away or right when you feel worse pain
