Is there any where close to Austin to sell my ovary eggs?

I am very fertile. Had kids one right after the other. But got my tubes tied up

Is there any where close to Austin to sell my ovary eggs?
You might want to look at www.craigslist.com. I see a lot of posts about looking for woman to sell their eggs or have a baby for a couple.

I live in San Diego, and a classmate of mine did both (sold her eggs, and also became a baby carrier of a gay couple). The company she went through, flew her to SF for a week (stayed on Pier32) to see if she qualified and went from there.

I posted a source where I saw an Austin Ad for Egg Donors.
Reply:First, you don't sell your eggs. You can donate them. You are compensated for your time and effort, but not the eggs themselves. Egg donation is a very involved process. It requires you to inject yourself 1-3 times a day with fertility medication for about a month. You have to undergo lots of testing and the process can take months. I have donated my eggs multiple times and it has been an AMAZING experience, but the side effects from the medication can be hard to deal with. Unlike another poster mentioned, it is rare for the children of donated eggs or sperm to seek out a familial relationship with the donor, and there are contractual ways you can protect yourself from this if you desire. You can also choose between an open donation (where you know the parents) to an anonymous donation. For more information check out www.independenteggdonation.com.
Reply:Austin Farmer's Market.
Reply:Can you even do this?
Reply:Unless you want your donated eggs knocking on your door 18 years from now, I wouldn't donate any such thing!!! There have been lots of incidents lately where children birthed from either a donated egg or sperm are showing up on the "donor's " doorstep hoping for a relationship with that "long lost" parent (or so they think!).

Reply:Try the IHOP or the Waffle House - they're always needing eggs.
Reply:You can donate your eggs but you cannot sell them. Just like you can donate your children for adoption but you can't sell them.

Harvesting healthy eggs for donation is very expensive and time-consuming. Most women who donate their eggs have left over eggs from In Vitro Fertilization.
