Is it bad when a female stretches and she feels like she pulled an ovary or something in that region?

When I wake up in the mornings (or afternoons) I stretch and i feel a stabbing feeling around my reproductive area. like way down by like my ovaries and such but it only stabs my left side one. is that a bad thing?

Is it bad when a female stretches and she feels like she pulled an ovary or something in that region?
Yep, I'm another who has this 'problem'

It is your ligaments stretching... the female hormone estrogen has the effect of loosening/relaxing ligaments so you may find it is worse around the middle of your cycle.

It is not a 'bad' thing to happen but more care must be taken during this time (for example, females have more sports injuries around the time they ovulate)

Hope this helps :-)
Reply:I get this all the time also only on my right side. But I had to have a cyst removed off of my right ovary. The pain I'm feeling is from scar tissue. If it bothers you that bad then go to the doctors. They will do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok.
Reply:This happens to me too! I've noticed that it's more noticeable when I have cysts (about 4-5 times a year), so maybe that's what's happening with you. When I get a cyst, i just have some dull, generalized pain, and they've always gone away on their own. I'm lucky. I actually have one now that won't go away! I'm 2 months pregnant, and it's still hangin on!
Reply:OMG, this happens to me all the time. I get this when I stand quickly from a sitting position. It must not have done any damage to me cuz my periods are all ok and ontime and I have had 4 kids! Good luck. Don't worry about this. It does indeed hurt for just those few seconds, but not to worry.
Reply:umm you cant "pull" an ovary

its probably an egg releasing
