It was removed due to a large dermoid cyst, my period is now really heavy I have bad period pains in my stomach and back which I never usually had before. Is this normal?
Had an ovary removed in feb and having a really bad period back ache and stomach ache is this normal?
Yea my manager had it removed and she had the same problem. she went doctors and they said it will happen as you have just had it removed but if i were you, i would get it checked just to be on the safe side..

Reply:ive actually been having really bad 'like labour pains' but i never had a cyst removed. Im not pregnant. ive been under alot of stress lately, have you been under alot of stress?
Reply:I had an ovary removed when I was about nine for the same reason, but I only had v. painful stomach pains for about the first ten days of my first period. I think this is normal, and you should just use the good old hot water bottle to shush it down a bit.
