i have a friend who was the left ovary removed and then after 3 months she got pregnant with a baby girl. was it possible? is there's no risk?
Is it possible to be pregnant after the the left ovary was removed?
i read somewhere that a female is born with her lifetime supply of eggs so ur frind still has some left. when u have ur period one month, the left ovary may release an egg and the next month, the right ovary does and so on. they take turns but now that she ha the left one gone, the right will jus do it every month so that mite mean less periods (lucky peson....lol)
i guess there its any risk and u prob think im a an adult, but im actually 12. we r learning about this in science class rite now (reproduction).
Reply:It's possible, she still has the right ovary. There's really no risk as long as her sutures have healed correctly.
Reply:She still has a right ovary...they normally take turns every month.
Reply:yep its still possible. a cousin of mine undergone the same operation the only difference is that the right ovary was removed. I already have a 1 and 3 mos old nephew.. there's no risk but if her wound hasn't healed enough she might be on cesarian section..
