Can you still have kids with one ovary?

My sister had to have an ovary removed while spending a year obroad in Japan. It was an emergency operation and the surgeons were good as she was at a very modern hospital in a larger city. I believe she had a cyst. She is only 32. Can she still have children? I'm 34 and probably won't have kids and I would like my Mom to be able to be a Grandmother.

Can you still have kids with one ovary?
Yes, she can. My ex-mother-in-law had a healthy baby boy after having an ovary removed.
Reply:you can with one ovary, time your ovulation with a predictor kit cause with one ovary you should be ovulation every other month cause your ovaries take turns but use a kit to make sure whats months your still ovulating
Reply:Yes, she should as long as there aren't other problems!
Reply:Yes - as long as that ovary is releasing eggs, she will be able to have children. It may take longer than a woman with 2 ovaries but she should be able to conceive.
Reply:She can definitely have a child. I have a friend who had no children for 3 years and wen the doctors tested her she was found to have cysts in both the ovaries and they gave up hope and told her tat she cannot have a child. But miraculously she gave birth to a boy and a girl who are so healthy..

God can work miracles. Trust in God.
Reply:no
Reply:YES, she def. can. Its the same as a man with one testicle, it doesnt mean they are infertile or they no longer "Work" it just means it will take a little more time because less eggs are being released monthly, but it is still "concievable."
