I had an ultrasound on April 7th they told me I have and cyst on my ovary?

I just got my period and I am in severe pain in my back abdomen and under my ribs and Im nauseaous is this normal??

no its not normal ,get to a doctor as it could have ruptured
Reply:yes, it is normal. you form cysts on your ovary as part of a normal process. the cyst forms, swells then breaks releasing the egg and propelling it towards the fallopian tubes. Sometimes this can be a painful process, sometimes you don't even know when it is happening. As for your other symptoms, they are likely not even associated and you may have something else going on, like a virus or something.
